Perennials, directed by Jesse Werkman, is a bilingual drama that follows Claudio, a middle-aged son spiraling after his mother’s death. As grief drives him toward anger and drinking, he clashes with his brother José until memories of their mother’s traditions and a moment of grace spark reconciliation.
